Do you want Lies or Truth?

By Patricia Conlin A few weeks ago, I presented to the Regional Council in Durham Region about the harm of their so called “Strategic Plan”. After the massive harm of Covid policies, Regional and local Councils are NOT course correcting and are instead doubling down on blatantly harmful Climate policies using the same fraudulent data that was used during Covid (https://rumble.com/v5g2kt1-proof-of-federal-fraud-interview-with-a-canadian-statistician.html). Enough is enough! below is part of what I said: Chair, Members of the Committee, I am here today as a concerned citizen to provide evidence of mismanagement of funds and a lack of sustainability in the Envision Durham Official Plan adopted on May 17, 2023. Officials who created this plan did not listen to evidence of harm from citizens and so liability for harm needs to be given back to the elected officials. I only have 5 minutes so will focus on the obvious flaws that need much further discussion. The plan boasts about the upcoming rapid population growth in Durham from today’s almost 700K to 1.3 million by 2051. I ask how does rapid unsustainable population growth achieve carbon neutral communities when humans breathe out C02? Also, how did you get the high number for growth? Government data shows that many Canadian families are having fewer children due to the cost of living. In addition, increases across the board in all- cause mortality and suicide are being recorded and life expectancy has dropped for Canadians like in the US. In addition, many potential skilled immigrants are now rejecting Canada because of the grossly high taxes and the poor quality of services including education, healthcare and housing prices. Building that many homes will also be a challenge especially given the current level of personal debt and high rent and home prices. Pushing a plan to seems to include bringing in countless new migrants, many who will not be able to afford housing-will put a burden on essential services, increase pollution, mental health issues and crime. On page 35-36 of your Official Plan, your so- called experts outline general policies to achieve net zero by 2050. “It is the policy of Council to: 3.2.1 Establish policies and undertake programs that support the Low Carbon Pathway, target reducing annual GHG emission by 30% over 2019 levels by 2030, and achieve net-zero by 2050.” This is irresponsible and could put you in a position of legal liability for gross negligence as well. This council has heard and been given clear evidence from esteemed scientists have confirmed that Co2 is not a pollutant and is essential for all life -including Canadian Dr. Patrick Moore, cofound of Greenpeace. You refuse to listen to this simple truth. The actual facts on CO2 are that it has risen from .03 - .04% in many decades which is so minuscule as to be ludicrous. In addition, Canada is one of the most carbon neutral countries worldwide. The truth is that net zero carbon like net zero Covid is impossible to achieve and will only result in a further impoverishment of residents and a breakdown of society. This grossly negligent policy push is exactly the same as during Covid, when destructive policies were willfully implemented to achieve net zero covid and massive caused poverty and human suffering to skyrocket only to confess later that net zero covid was never possible. The same thing will happen with net zero carbon. Poverty and suffering are all you will achieve and then you will go “Opps” we made a mistake. Matthew 7 verse 16 states “ Ye shall know them by their fruits.” This Council is acting upon fraud and lies which are causing significant harm residents and must stop. The truth is that Climate IS CHANGING and always will but not because of carbon dioxide and human activity. If you actually cared about the environment at all, you would force companies to remove the toxic chemicals that are harming our kids and all residents in our food, air, soil and water. You remove FLORIDE from municipal water as it has been ruled an “unreasonable risk to health” from the US federal court. You would ban Round-UP as it is killing our bees and causing human cancer. You would support local farmers who supply our healthy fruits and vegetables instead of bankrupting them and taxing them into poverty with carbon taxes. You would plant trees in urban settings and protect land instead of building condos on Greenspaces and charging people to even walk in their own parks and forests in Durham. You would also stop pushing mass unsustainable immigration and focus on improving the lives of the people who currently live in Durham. If you truly wanted to build a thriving community focus on lowing taxes, creating jobs and improving health. How can you create more jobs when the taxes in Canada are far too high for most small and medium size businesses and many were destroyed already by your draconian lockdowns during covid. How can you promote Green energy jobs when many know that EV vehicles are not green or affordable and the rare earth minerals used for toxic lithium batteries are mined with slave labour. Green energy is a lie that enriches billionaires while making the cost of energy for the masses soar while destroying the environment. Another example of this fraud are windmills which deliver little energy and are decimating whale and bird populations while causing environmental harm when recycled. If you cared about Durham residents you help them afford their first home by reducing immigration, reducing taxes and eliminating all carbon taxes. You would encourage safer communities by reducing poverty, assisting the homeless and ensuring healthy food is available to be served to our families. If you cared about Durham residents, you would open your eyes to a growing crisis of mental health issues, poverty, illness and violence and start helping instead of harming with your negligent policies build on lies and delivering suffering. You would read the detailed recommendations provided in the National Citizens Inquiry which concluded that lockdowns and mandates did far more harm than good and the covid shots were neither safe nor effective. But instead you double down that massive harm has been done by negligent policies with more of the same negligent policies. This council needs to course correct or be removed. Implementing this Official Plan is gross negligent and those who are involved need to be held responsible.”
