Municipalities pride themselves on ‘SUPPORTING LOCAL SMALL BUSINESSES’, but by their practice they don’t. The problem with the internet is that not everyone can afford it or everyone gets on it. Main, reason. Many can’t afford computers or smart phones. Many, especially those living in rural areas have limited or no internet service. A huge number of the general population do not have the time after a busy day to sit in front of a computer. This is where the local newspaper plays a role.
