The Oshawa Times had closed it’s doors in Oshawa after 123 years of service. Those were big shoes to fill. I remember the many questioning our goal, purpose and longevity. Well 28 years later. Here we are, stronger and bigger than ever. What does that mean for Oshawa/Durham region? Bigger and better can only mean one thing. We have won one reader at a time. The success comes from our many columnists, reporters, journalists, affiliate, contributors and associates not only locally but across the globe. I like to personally thank Corneliu Chisu for his years of contributing a very well thought out column. A gentleman and a scholar in his field of expertise. His life experiences and insight in politics make his columns rich. His topics are revealing and eye opening. He writes from a conservative perspective that entices all spectrum readers to enjoy a well presented argument. Many letters come in praising his topics and style.
